As a newcomer from Britain in the late sixties (from the Liverpool area ... yes, she saw the Beatles at the Cavern!) Hazel first pursued her trained profession as a teacher, before staying at home to raise her two children. She has enjoyed living in the Burlington area for a total of over 20 years, as well as a spell in Northern Ontario where she began her real estate career in 1986.
